ABOUT THE TAX THE RICH PROJECT.

The Tax the Rich Project is a 501(c)3 nonprofit corporation established to promote one very simple yet very important message and to remind the general voting public that their votes always outnumber those of the very wealthy and the politicians who support the very wealthy by millions to one, and that all that is required to reassert the power of the electorate is a central hub to coordinate and disseminate this very simple message and to promote a greater awareness of current and upcoming tax legislation and which tax brackets are or will be affected.

Mission Statement: To remind the voting public that they greatly outnumber the rich and the politicians who support the rich and that they can always win a vote to tax the rich.

Vision Statement: Voters will be able to identify upcoming tax initiatives and which tax brackets they affect as well as politicians who are and are not willing to introduce legislation to tax the rich.

THE VOTER’S TAX THE RICH MAXIM:

(The equivalent of “Don’t spit into the wind,” for voters):

Never vote for taxes on your own or lower tax brackets: always vote for taxes on higher tax brackets.

The Tax the Rich Project will fund its work and promote and disseminate its message through grants, donations, and this website as well as through supporting fundraising campaigns for student organizations and local bands who can pass out the Tax the Rich Project literature (see link below) and sell Tax the Rich Project merchandise to raise money for this and their own projects.
